A full-scale immersive capsule that reimagines the car interior as a living, reactive space — presented with CUPRA at Milan Design Week 2025.
Sensorial Capsule
A living car interior. A responsive sculpture. A new kind of connection.
At Tigrelab, we were commissioned by CUPRA to bring a bold vision to life — creating an immersive, full-scale prototype that redefines the in-car experience. Unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025, right in the heart of Piazza XXV Aprile, the CUPRA Sensorial Capsule invited visitors to step inside a futuristic concept where space, emotion, and technology converge.
This wasn’t just a showpiece — it was a living sculpture. Over the course of a year, we worked hand-in-hand with the CUPRA design team to build an interior that feels alive: reacting in real time to movement, presence, and emotion. Light pulses, surfaces breathe, and sound evolves — creating a fluid, intuitive dialogue between human and machine.

The narrative unfolds in four intuitive acts. It begins with a welcoming play of light and projection that invites the visitor in. The experience then moves into an immersive moment where the physicality of the capsule takes center stage — its materials, contours, and structure revealed through light trails and mapped projection. The pace intensifies in Ride, where sound, lighting, and Boost Mode evoke motion and control. Finally, Meta shifts into an adaptive, AI-driven space where the car becomes an evolving companion.
