The Macallan’s Whisky Maker Polly Logan explored the mastery behind New York in collaboration with the Roca brothers, creating an innovative single malt that distils the essence of an iconic city. Master For You Agency reached out to us to produce a full 3D spot for this release, “Distil your World, New York”.

Tigrelab was responsible for the concept, 3D animation, fluid simulations, composition, and sound design. Our purpose was to showcase the pack’s impressive engraved map of New York, exploring it macroscopically through a whisky’s simulation that filled the city on the swing of New York.

We gave life to the metropolis geometry engraved on the white box of the bottle, fully modelled in 3D.
The whisky flow was used as a key element to dynamize the journey and interact with and through the vibrant city.
We made the fluid simulation with Houdini. This resulted in a challenging journey to create an alive and organic movement, maintaining a realistic look to reflect the artistic character that defines this limited edition.
This whisky limited edition represents and celebrates the essence of New York as a vibrant city that gathers creativity, art, and innovation.
