Animated Alabama Shakes’ album graphics into a crafty, handmade-style loop synced with the song’s bass.
Sound and Color
The creative agency Hugo & Marie designed some minimal and beautiful graphics for the Alabama Shakes album “Sound and Color”.
They reached Tigrelab to bring to life their designs, aiming to show the graphics in a crafty and handmade style, based on the cover art.
Tigrelab started the production with the really simple vector designs provided by Mario Hugo and we began to animate them with the traditional 2D and 3D tools for motion graphics, working to achieve the mood and language of crafty and homemade style. Intentionally to be like a clean mess. Using different layers of adjustments and displacements to transform the cold vectors into handmade paths. They reached Tigrelab to bring them to life, aiming to show the graphics in a crafty and handmade-style, based on the cover art. The final piece is a 1-minute loop synchronized with the bass of the song.
