Grup Transversal and Tigrelab joined forces to create Colors, a fully immersive 4D cinema experience for Parc Tibidabo, one of Europe’s most beloved and historic amusement parks. The brief: bring the park’s four mascots (Ti, Bi, Da and Bo) to life, and send them on a mission to restore the colors of the city.

The result is a 12-minute adventure built for wonder. Every iconic building in Barcelona was modeled from scratch and composited entirely in Unreal Engine, crafting a stylized, vibrant vision of the city that feels both familiar and fantastical. As a Barcelona-based studio, the chance to build our own interpretation of the city we call home made this project something deeply personal.

Colors marks Tigrelab’s first foray into the world of 4D cinema, a medium that demanded a whole new creative and technical vocabulary. Stereoscopic 3D, motion seats, scent, wind, water, and synchronized lighting: every element was orchestrated to make audiences not just watch, but feel. The experience layers sensation upon sensation, turning a single seat into a full-body journey through color, sound, and movement.

The film had its official inauguration at Tibidabo, celebrated alongside Barcelona’s mayor and a host of special guests. A city reimagined. A new story told.
