Protopixel builds software for light. When the time came to launch their new brand identity (designed by our friends at MUCHO) they asked us to bring it to life in motion.

The piece is built around light itself. Clean geometry, the new logo dissolving and emerging from gradients, minimal forms that move the way light actually moves. All rendered in Cinema 4D, with color grading and finishing in After Effects.

What made this project particular is that the entire sound design was done in-house using Ableton. Sound and image developed together from the start. Everything feels like it belongs to the same piece.
We’ve shared a studio with Protopixel for years. This logo reveal felt less like a commission and more like something that was always going to happen.
