The director duo Aggressive contacted us to help them to create the opening titles for the latest true crime series from Oxygen TV: «The DNA of Murder». They wanted to mix again cinematography and projection mapping.
One of the key shots was to place the main character in a projected room that would show four different spaces reflecting a typical murder crime scene of a cold case.
They wanted to create the film noir atmosphere projecting these fake rooms into a physical space, the objective was to create a trompe l’oeil effect without losing the quality of the image, so we needed to model, light, and texture huge 10K 3d renders to create this spaces without compromising quality of the images and using the complete resolution of the projectors.
